Located in Rockville, Maryland, Woodmont Country Club showcases two championship golf courses, indoor and outdoor tennis courts. A host of options for your well-being in the fitness and wellness center, a swimming pool and children's pool, summer camp, and extensive junior athletic programs.   • Advantages of Membership
    • There are three primary private Club membership opportunities available at Woodmont Country Club:

      Legacy Membership

      This program is available for Active Membership to any child, step-child, grandchild or step-grandchild of current Active, Associate or Social Members, beginning at age 25 (including those currently enrolled in the Children’s Deposit Program) and who submits an application for membership. Legacy members are full members with access to all Club amenities to include but not limited to; golf, tennis, dining, social events, fitness and seasonal pool use.

      Non-Legacy Membership

      This program is available for Active Membership to individuals and families that are not connected to family members. Non - Legacy members begin as Transitional Members and receive many of the benefits of membership, this initial status of membership enables the Club to continue to take new members off our waiting list.  As space allows the Transitional Member moves to full membership with full access to all club amenities to include but not limited to; golf, tennis, dining, social events, fitness and seasonal pool use. 

      Clubhouse Membership

      65 years of age and older are welcome to apply for Clubhouse (Social) Membership. Clubhouse (Social) Membership includes access to Club dining, card play, fitness, seasonal pool privileges and (3) times per year play privileges of golf and tennis play (applicable per individual and spouse/constant companion only).

  • Frequently Asked Questions

    • (1) What is the pricing? Is it determined by age? The pricing is available following discussion with the membership department and yes the initiation and pricing per month for membership is based on age.

      (2) What is the length of time on the waiting list? Generally, the Admissions Committee does not begin to consider candidates for membership until after they have been on the waiting list for a minimum of two months. At this time we estimate our waiting list is a minimum of 2+ years.

      (3) Do I/we have to know people who are members to join Woodmont? No. If you do not know members at Woodmont, our Host Committee will assist you with meeting members. The Admissions Committee invites you and your spouse (if applicable) to an individual interview session, which affords an informal opportunity for the Admissions Committee to meet and get to know you, and for you to ask direct questions and gather information about the benefits of Club membership. Non-Legacy membership does require two (2) current active members of the Club to serve as your sponsors with corresponding letters indicating sponsorship as well as four (4) letters of support from current active members of the Club. The Club's Membership and Host Committee are more than happy to assist in making connections with current members in order to assist you in creating connections and opportunities to meet members.

      (4) If I/we do know members and want to join what is the requirement regarding sponsorship? Contact two (2) acquaintances who are current active members of Woodmont Country Club and ask them to act as your sponsors and to provide sponsor letters on your behalf. Sponsor letters should specify how long the member has known you and the type of relationship (i.e., whether friend, family or business/social acquaintance), along with the member's knowledge of your integrity and reputation in the community. Any additional insights will help the Admissions Committee develop a picture of you as a candidate for membership. A minimum of four (4) additional letters of support from current active Woodmont Country Club members are required by the Admissions Committee.
